There may be some traditionalists who will not embrace this form of Necromancy. They will cling to the old paths of Paganism!!

Since the Fall of Men and Women in the Garden of Eden, lost Souls have been on a quest for the knowledge that God told them to avoid.

Leviticus 20:6 “And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.”

God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden to give Adam and Eve a choice to obey Him or disobey Him. Adam and Eve were free to do anything they wanted, except eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:16-17, “And the LORD God commanded the man, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.’” If God had not given Adam and Eve the choice, they would have essentially been robots, simply doing what they were programmed to do. God created Adam and Eve to be “free” beings, able to make decisions, able to choose between good and evil. In order for Adam and Eve to truly be free, they had to have a choice. Source

If you tell kids not to do something, you can bet they will go and do it anyway. Reader, that is called the Sin Nature which was the result of the Fall! In the Garden, God had provided protection from the realm of the spirit.  By tapping into that realm mankind opened themselves up to EVIL which had no place in the Garden.  Eating from the tree of GOOD AND EVIL removed the protective veil from their eyes and allowed them to see both Demon and Angelic beings most likely in battle.  Since the Fall in the Garden, mankind has struggled with GOOD and EVIL influences throughout their lives.  Life is a series of choices.

There are those that choose to tap into the spirit realm and make contact with the Evil that is allowed by God to exist there. This is called  Necromancy or Spiritism.  Using various methods they strive to communicate with the spirits. These evil spirits are great deceivers. They manifest in whatever form will be accepted.  They often masquerade as someone who died to deceive the individual, medium, or psychic, into believing they are in contact with the spirit of that dead person, whom they assume is in heaven.

This is why over the centuries people have concocted devices that they believe puts them in contact with the dear departed. Rest assured they do not! The main topic of this article, the Soul Phone, is just the latest technological advancement that has been conjured up in the minds of Demon Possessed individuals!

One very huge promoter of Spiritism is Oprah Winfrey, who IS a practicing witch. She often presents Spiritists, Seers, Mediums, Channelers, Witches, and Psychics, on her programs. She naturally has played a role in its recent popularity.  Spiritism has been in the news as of late due to the Witch-doctor, who calls himself “John of God“.  Let’s be very clear, he is NOT of the God of the Bible, he is of the false god Lucifer who is the god of this world system!

SAO PAOLO, Brazil (RNS) — For decades John of God attracted crowds with his alleged faith healing powers, at first capitalizing on local spiritualist beliefs but soon riding the wave of New Age spirituality to cater to personalities such as Oprah Winfrey and performance artist Marina Abramovic.

Seems to that this same “John of God” also ran a sex slave farm and sold babies to highest bidder!

Before we delve into a more in-depth description of the Soul Phone, we must present a clear understanding of the Soul of men and women. I use this writing from Got questions as it has sound info. 

However, I do take issue with the first sentence which reads, “The Bible is not perfectly clear as to the nature of the human soul”. Yes, it IS perfectly clear and they state it in the second paragraph, “You don’t have a soul. You are a Soul.”! I added Genesis 2.7 for the reference as the Word of God says it VERY clearly there! “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” End of debate!  

Got Questions – The Bible is not perfectly clear as to the nature of the human soul. But from studying the way the word soul is used in Scripture, we can come to some conclusions. Simply stated, the human soul is the part of a person that is not physical. It is the part of every human being that lasts eternally after the body experiences death. Genesis 35:18 describes the death of Rachel, Jacob’s wife, saying she named her son “as her soul was departing.” From this we know that the soul is different from the body and that it continues to live after physical death.

The human soul is central to the personhood of a human being. As George MacDonald said, “You don’t have a soul. You are a Soul. (Genesis 2:7) You have a body.” In other words, personhood is not based on having a body. A soul is what is required. Repeatedly in the Bible, people are referred to as “souls” (Exodus 31:14; Proverbs 11:30), especially in contexts that focus on the value of human life and personhood or on the concept of a “whole being” (Psalm 16:9-10; Ezekiel 18:4; Acts 2:41; Revelation 18:13).

The human soul is distinct from the heart (Deuteronomy 26:16; 30:6) and the spirit (1st Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12) and the mind (Matthew 22:37; Mark 12:30; Luke 10:27). The human soul is created by God (Jeremiah 38:16). It can be strong or unsteady (2nd Peter 2:14); it can be lost or saved (James 1:21; Ezekiel 18:4). We know that the human soul needs atonement (Leviticus 17:11) and is the part of us that is purified and protected by the truth and the work of the Holy Spirit (1st Peter 1:22). Jesus is the great Shepherd of souls (1st Peter 2:25).

Matthew 11:29 tells us that we can turn to Jesus Christ to find rest for our souls. Psalm 16:9-10 is a Messianic psalm that allows us to see that Jesus also had a soul. David wrote, “Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.” This cannot be speaking of David (as Paul points out in Acts 13:35-37) because David’s body did see corruption and decay when he died. But Jesus Christ’s body never saw corruption (He was resurrected), and His soul was not abandoned to Sheol. Jesus, as the Son of Man, has a soul.

There is often confusion about the human spirit vs. the human soul. In places, Scripture seems to use the terms interchangeably, but there might be a subtle difference. Otherwise, how could the Word of God penetrate “even to dividing soul and spirit” (Hebrews 4:12)? When the Bible talks about man’s spirit, it is usually speaking of an inner force which animates a person in one direction or another. It is repeatedly shown as a mover, a dynamic force (e.g., Numbers 14:24).

It has been said that there are only two things that last: the Word of God (Mark 13:31) and the souls of men. This is because, like God’s Word, the soul is an imperishable thing. That thought should be both sobering and awe-inspiring. Every person you meet is an eternal soul. Every human being who has ever lived is a soul, and all of those souls are still in existence somewhere. The question is, where? The souls that reject God’s love are condemned to pay for their own sin, eternally, in hell (Romans 6:23). But the souls who acknowledge their own sinfulness and accept God’s gracious gift of forgiveness will live forever beside still waters with their Shepherd, wanting for nothing (Psalm 23:2). The science fiction writers of the late 19th and early 20th century imagined a future in which people relied on technology for everything. Yes, that means everything. Aside from remembering phone numbers for us and selling our innermost private thoughts to our new corporate overlords, bless their unending wisdom and benevolence, the technologies of the digital age are beginning to hint at the possibility that humanity might soon be able to create new technological forms of immortality or the afterlife.

In some ways, this all began with the photograph or even the portrait; these relatively recent inventions have allowed us to see our loved ones’ faces long after they pass. Some people aren’t content with gazing at a static two-dimensional image, though. Some people want to talk to and interact with a creepy digital ghost of their dead grandfather in order to make up for sticking him in that awful retirement home. Whatever the reasons are, more and more developers are turning to technology in the attempt to bring their deceased loved ones back to life.

The latest technology firm to promise a digital connection to the dead is the SoulPhone Foundation, an organization dedicated to researching methods of connecting individuals with the disembodied consciousnesses of the departed. According to the SoulPhone Foundation website, evidence that this may be possible is suggested by a variety of paranormal phenomena and fringe sciences like near death experiences, out of body experiences, extraordinary mental abilities, remote viewing, spontaneous healings, transcendent experiences, synchronicities, psychic abilities, mediumship, and other phenomena. The SoulPhone Foundation claims that these phenomena suggest that a separate reality might exist just beyond the edges of our perception, a reality inhabited by spirits or disembodied consciousnesses:

This larger reality demonstrates the very real possibility of the survival of consciousness beyond bodily death.  Not only that, but, communications with this consciousness is possible. How can this be? While some of the underlying mechanisms are unclear at this time, it would appear that the brain may function like a “filter / receiver of consciousness” much as a television set is a receiver for a signal created and transmitted from a distant location.

The foundation’s immediate goal is to develop a “Soul Keyboard” allowing individuals to ask simple yes/no questions to spirits existing in this hidden reality. According to their website, the foundation believe this will be possible within two years; no date on the SoulPhone yet. Source

The majority of the world is seeking answers through horoscopes, psychic readings, fortune telling, and even through Witchcraft and Psychology. They are seeking to receive instruction, guidance, and counsel. They do it through any and every means but God! All of the means named have one common factor, that being demon spirits!

Demon spirits are ALWAYS the underlying power in ALL false religion and false doctrine. They only serve to deceive and lead a person away from the Word of God and the True Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

The Witch of Endor

King Saul is a prime example of someone who bypassed God and tries to seek answers by other means. 

1st Samuel 28:7-15 “Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. 8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. 9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die? 10 And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing. 11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. 12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself. 15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

Was this the prophet Samuel? NO. Saul did NOT actually see the “old man”, the witch did! He “perceived” he was talking to Samuel as he had his face to the ground. 

It was an evil spirit, a demon that was impersonating Samuel. You can NOT talk to the souls of dead people, nor can they come back and appear or talk to you!!! This is what the Soul Phone is attempting to do!

Contrary to popular belief, being a good person does NOT get you INTO Heaven and being a bad person does NOT automatically condemn you to Hell! Also, a persons Soul and Spirit do not hang around as some people believe.

When you die, your Soul and Spirit are IMMEDIATELY in one of two places, Heaven or Hell, depending on whether or not you accept the gift of SALVATION and whether the CREATOR recognizes you as belonging to and in relationship with HIM. It is a matter of FAITH and RELATIONSHIP!  Your ticket to Heaven cannot be bought or earned.  You cannot work your way into heaven, or bribe your way in, or force your way in, or will your way in, or fake your way in.  You cannot pray Hell away, or wish it away, or fight your way out.  If HELL is your destination, based on your life choices, you are eternally damned.  

For those who DO NOT receive Jesus Christ as Savior, death means everlasting punishment. Unbelievers are sent immediately to a temporary holding place, to await their final resurrection, judgment, and eternal destiny. Luke 16:22-31 describes a rich man being tormented immediately after death. Revelation 20:11-15 describes all the unbelieving dead being resurrected, judged at the Great White Throne, and then being cast into the lake of fire. Unbelievers, then, are not sent to the lake of fire immediately after death, but rather are in a temporary realm of judgment and condemnation. However, even though unbelievers are not instantly sent to the lake of fire, their immediate fate after death is not a pleasant one. The rich man cried out, “I am in agony in this fire” Luke 16:24. It is still hot, and they are able to SEE others and are very aware of what is happening!

On the other hand, BELIEVERS are instantly in the presence of the Lord.

2nd Corinthians 5:5-10 “Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight: 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

The Judgment seat of Christ is for BELIEVERS and the Great White Throne Judgment is for UNBELIEVERS!
